2023-05-30	Adam Fisher	So far, I'm very happy with the simplicity and it does what I need it to do. My only issue is that my Windows machine keeps sleeping while it's reading more than a few paragraphs, so as a workaround I've been playing YouTube videos in the background on low volume / mute to keep that from happening - it would be perfect if it could keep my device awake while actively reading!
2023-05-28	Lesa Clark	For years I loved Read Aloud. I particularly liked the male English British Accent voice. The voice was deep and perhaps from an older person. One day Read Aloud just stopped and when I tried to set it up again the voices changed. Only available were, 2 female English British Accents which I didn't like and 2 young hollow unpleasant male Engliish British Accents. Why did you have to change it?

2023-05-22	Proekt Fi	I'm glad they're still smart people in the stingy computer world who could do a Good Samaritan's gesture for us, unlike Elon Musk, who charges you for Every Breath You Take. very good application not as good as "natural reader" for example but who could look in the mouth of a gift horse? ) they all have artificial voices, unlike paid apps, but who cares?

2023-05-10	Roberto Chahin	Suggestion for improvement: Some texts (PDFs) come in column format and will split words at the end of a line with a dash and continue it on the next. When the app reads it, it breaks up the word and sometimes it makes for awkward sounding speech. Other than that, the app is wonderful

FEATURES: Works great, massive amount of voices, offline, and online 3rd party services to integrate with. Intuitive user interface with many options. Hotkeys built-in. Just a great piece of software. DEVELOPER TRUST & DATA PRIVACY: This is a well-designed open-source project. The code is well-maintained and easy to contribute new features to. The developer is super responsive. It is clear when voices are implemented as online versus offline. Innovation is easy here with advanced next-gen systems.
