Live RSS Bookmarks mimics Firefox's old live bookmarks feature (removed since 2018). It does this by syncing bookmarks inside a folder for each RSS feed.
This extension was previously called Foxish but was re-written to support Chrome Manifest v3. At this time it was simplified since Chrome no longer limits bookmark access like it did in the past and efforts were made to future proof it.
⚠️ Bookmark syncing between multiple devices will cause duplicate folders and is not supported.

Glad to see a manifest v3 version of Foxish, but this is still missing several key features that Foxit had. Most notably:
1. No control over how much of the RSS feed is pulled/shown. It pulls the entire feed no matter what.
2. No control over the polling interval
3. Direct links to the site were previously separated by a divider, making them much more noticeable
4. No ability to detect and add RSS feeds automatically from the address bar
5. No accessible error logging, making debugging of feeds more difficult (I've been softbanned from feeds for pulling too often for example, and only knew because of the error logs)
6. No export/import of settings for backup
Hoping this project continues to develop to implement these!
long time happy user of the predecessor of this ext - Foxish. was gutted when it stopped working so thrilled that it was revived here. this is truly the BEST RSS reader for Chrome! but taking off a star as it doesn't operate like the old Foxish in that it does not recognize RSS feeds on a page; user must manually input RSS feeds (which isn't possible for non-public feeds). not sure if this is a CM v3 limitation but hoping the dev sees this and can get it back up in a future update. thank you dev!
