What is Beatube?

Beatube is a Chrome extension that allows you to listen to full length tracks on Beatport.com before purchasing them. It performs a search on YouTube to find the full length track and loads the top results next to the Beatport player. Beatube also offers a playlist feature for easy creation of a YouTube playlist from the search results.

When you play a track on beatport.com, Beatube performs a search to find the full length track on YouTube. The top results of this search are then loaded up right next to the Beatport player, ready for you to listen. Alternatively you can configure Beatube to play the YouTube results automatically, instead of the Beatport sample.

Most tracks on Beatport can be found right away using the default Beatube search. The search terms can be customised to be more or less specific as needed. If it’s on YouTube, Beatube will find it for you.

Beatube also offers a playlist feature, which allows you to easily create a YouTube playlist from the search results. This is useful if you’d like to play through all of the tracks in your cart before purchasing them.

I thought this was brilliant. I had actually started doing this when buying tunes myself in the last 6 months. There is nothing worse than buying a tune that has an unexpected opening or ending that's impossible to mix with! I highly recommend
