Wen Mang is a Chrome extension that plays audio of selected Chinese text, helping Chinese diaspora easily understand Mandarin characters even if they can't read them. It allows users to shop on Taobao and read articles from WeChat relatives by simply highlighting the text and right-clicking to have it read out loud.
