Thought no one would do it and coded my own extension, used it for a time and then saw this. Just perfect, it's just what I needed!

I was using close-duplicate-tab which is featured on play store, and that one worked fine but was a little too simple. Tab killer is definitely more powerful, has an active GitHub / is open source, and it allows whitelists which is an amazing feature to see! 100% would recommend this over other duplicate tab closers out there.
