TAK Tracker

TAK Tracker is a lightweight Android extension designed for secure location sharing on TAK infrastructure. Unlike ATAK, it is a "send only" tool without map features, focusing on efficient blue force tracking with minimal battery consumption. Users can easily configure TAK Tracker using TAK Server Enrollment and input settings like callsign, team color, and role.

The extension supports chat messaging to all TAK devices on the server and includes an emergency beacon feature to transmit distress alerts continuously until deactivated. Although feature-limited compared to ATAK, TAK Tracker ensures privacy and streamlined operation for mission-critical tracking scenarios. Users benefit from customizable location and heading formats and can expect around 10 hours of battery life during typical use.
