Looks good. Works well. I request you to improve the addon. First, change the icon of the addon. Second, change the name of the addon as this doesnt come up in the searches. Use omnibox and context menu in the title so that it comes up in the searches. Use keywords related to Duckduckgo addon so that it comes up in searches related to it. Third, dont limit to google, add other search engines like google, DDG (I dont use DDG addon), brave search, bing, ecosia, startpage, chat gpt, perplexity and more. Consider promoting it. And shift it to top of the context menu for easy visibility. Make this mobile firefox too. Dont use dirty URL but clean URL (for reference see clearURL addon). Thanks.

Is Google Search Safe?
Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.
Google Search does not require any sensitive permissions.
