User reviews
Users find the 'Chartink To TradingView' extension highly useful for simplifying stock scanning and chart analysis across platforms like TradingView and Zerodha. However, there are repeated reports of bugs causing malfunction, especially with copying stock lists and handling special characters in stock names. Recent updates have introduced issues such as forced redirection and UI alignment problems. Despite these, the extension remains appreciated for its productivity benefits and developer responsiveness.
Pros

- Helps in directly viewing charts on platforms like Zerodha with multi-chart features.
- Easy to use and very helpful for technical analysis as per multiple user feedback.

Cons
- Extension often fails to work or shows bugs, especially after recent updates, leading to failure in copying or redirecting correctly.
- Issues with stocks containing special characters like '&' where names are not correctly converted leading to improper export to TradingView.
- After some updates, the extension causes unwanted redirection away from Chartink to TradingView automatically.
- User interface glitches like misaligned scan filters making it hard to read or edit.
- Not consistently working across browsers like Firefox and Chrome, with recent reports of failure.

I am facing issue while clicking copy to tradingview, it is not redirecting there. It is just copying all the stocks from scanner. After that I have to pest all to notepad then import to tradingview. I reinstalled extention checked on another pc as well same behavior. Is it supposed to just copy the list or redirect to tradingview with new list?
Thanks for developing this wonderfull extention.
