Glisters — New Tab

Glisters is a minimal, highly configurable new tab page. Replace the default tab with your own shortcut grid, a bookmarks sidebar that edits your real browser bookmarks, optional wallpapers, and per-user cloud sync — no trackers, no ads, no bloat.

Shortcut grid:

• Add tiles with auto-detected titles and icons.
• Drag to reorder with smooth flip animations; paginate through multiple pages.
• Open with Enter, new tab with Ctrl+Enter.
• Command bar (/) for quick search, URL entry, or pasted image reverse search.

Bookmarks sidebar:

• Press b to open a full keyboard-driven editor for your browser's real bookmarks bar.
• Add, edit, delete, move, and drag-and-drop folders — every change writes straight to the browser.

Wallpapers:

• Wallhaven-backed wallpaper pool with favourites, blur and monochrome options, and offline fallbacks.

Sync (optional):

• Sign in with email and password to mirror your grid, settings, and favourites to the cloud — across devices and browsers.
• Fully functional offline and local-only without signing in.

Configurable:

• Tile size, grid columns and rows, gaps, labels, colours, wallpaper blur, monochrome, sidebar widths — everything adjustable from the settings drawer.

Privacy:

• Local data stays in your browser's own storage. Sync only stores your save and sign-in, handled by Clerk. No analytics, no telemetry, no advertising.
