What is My CookBook?
My CookBook is a Chrome extension designed to serve as a digital cookbook. It helps store, organize, import and share your favorite recipes. Use the search and import features to gather new ideas from the web and build your own recipe database. Additionally, you can create shopping lists from your recipe ingredients, and sync recipes across different devices using Dropbox. My CookBook also allows you to scale ingredients, read recipes out loud, and customize the application's theme, font size, and categories. You can share recipes with friends directly or via social media. An optional online account gives you access to cloud storage, recipe sharing with friends, and meal planning.

You are looking for a new recipe ? Use our searching engine to find a new recipe on the web. When you have found one you like, import it into My CookBook. Then you will be able to view it everywhere on your phone or your tablet. You can add your own photo, change ingredients or directions, or add you own comments

You already have a cookbook ? Add a new recipe into My CookBook manually, or import your digital cookbook using one of the file formats we support like Meal Master (.mmf), MasterCook (.mxp), LivingCookBook (.fdx) , ReKconv (.rk)...

You want to share some recipes with your friends ? Invite your friends to join My CookBook, share your recipes with them and view their recipes. Or share your recipes on Facebook or by email, sms, and others. You can also send them a “My CookBook” file they will be able to load into their app

Works great for me on my Chromebook. I use the app on my android tablet and iphone also. To set up I just logged in under settings and synchronized and everything is there.

Cannot get this Chrome App to work. I use the Android version on my phone and tablet, but wanted to be able to access my recipes from my Chromebook. It will not import my fdx file!
