Works nicely on Firefox 132.0.2 on a Mac... the first time it runs. After that, it's dead. No pop-up, no new tab, nothing. Refreshing doesn't fix, only restarting the browser. Then it works again, once.
When it runs it's very nice and easy to use. Smooth and snappy. Great scrubber bar and speed controls. Easy play/pause. 50x better than the default no-controls viewer.
Ideally it would be great if it directly overrode the displayed GIF on a page but maybe Firefox makes that difficult to do.

EDIT: I found a workaround. I noticed the pop-up viewer has an URL input and simply putting in a new GIF link works as expected with the new image. Even with the "copy image link"-and-paste steps, the extension is VERY useful. I just need to leave the pop-up open.
