User reviews
Pros
- Allows controlling volume of multiple tabs without switching to them
- Provides a centralized place to control all tab volumes
- Includes the ability to play/resume playback from the extension
- Recent updates have improved stability and fixed many bugs
- Interface is visually appealing and nice to use
Cons
- Does not recognize some tabs (e.g., Google Meet) as playing audio, thus volume control doesn't work for those
- Volume resets to 100% when playing different content within the same tab, lacking per-content volume control
- Only picks up tabs from one Chrome window and lacks ability to control tabs across multiple windows
- Setting volume to 0 mutes audio but then tabs disappear from the popup making it impossible to increase volume without reloading the page
- Compatibility issues with some platforms like Opera GX and Spotify
Recent reviews
This extension is really great for controlling tab volumes, but there's one thing: when I have multiple Chrome windows open, it only picks up tabs from one of them. It would be nice to have a way to see and switch between tabs from both windows. Still, it’s awesome overall!
Edit: I also noticed that when I set the volume of all tabs to 0 from the extension's popup using the slider at the bottom, the popup recognizes that no tabs are playing audio anymore. As a result, all the tabs that were previously playing audio are removed from the popup's body (because they are no longer playing audio). The slider that adjusts the volume for all tabs can no longer be used to increase the volume since, according to the extension, there are no tabs playing audio (even though they are technically trying to play audio, it's just muted at 0 and cannot be adjusted unless the page is reloaded)

Very nice! Not only I can control all tabs volumes in a centralized place, I can play/resume the playback as well.
