en | edit: Tip! The extension works exactly as you'd expect. It's like an archive for those big tab groups of yours, and I love it! I did encounter a bug (and recorded it) where the tabs would come back ungrouped upon restoration (it's only a minor inconvenience, though I hope it's rare) My suggestions are: - adding a feature to allow restoring single tabs from groups in the big "window" view of the extension (i.e. not the little pop-up) - adding a setting to choose between a small and big pop-up, one detailed one (similar to the existing window view) and keeping the existing pop-up as a minimal view (see how big the "tab-wrangler" extension's pop-up is!) Tip: for those unsure of how to use the extension, you first need to group the tabs using your browser's tab grouping feature (usually done by dragging the tabs such that they overlap with each other) then the group will show up on the extension. from there you can save it to be restored at a later time (and from my experience, even after closing and re-opening the browser) |

en | I really want to give this extension 5 stars ( because there is a huge need for a "tabs profile" function ), but I can only give 1. Echoing what John Sepassi says below ...."When I clicked into it all I could see was every window that was open and the names of the tabs but there was no way for me to save them, name the group of tabs, or do anything besides just see which windows were open. absolutely pointless chrome extension.". I wouldn't go as far as saying that this is a useless extension but it's close. If I could click in to it, save a group of tabs as a profile and then go and reload that profile later, I'd happily give this 5 stars. If this is somehow possible, the developer needs to say how it's done. |
