How to uninstall it: type in toolbar chrome://extensions, go to Claudia Leitte New Tab and deactivate/delete the app. Piece of cake!

Permissions explanation: in order to display the bookmarks/apps/most and last visited sites, the extension needs to read them before, so it knows what to display.
