2. Getting Started Guide
After entering the game homepage, tap the 「Start Game」 button to directly unlock the game map interface;
First-time players need to select a hero: Choose 1 initial combat character from three featured heroes recommended by the system. Each hero has unique skills and attributes (more abilities can be unlocked through development later);
Once the hero is confirmed, the first wave of enemy attacks starts immediately—no additional complex operations required, allowing you to jump into battle quickly.
3. Core Gameplay Mechanics
(1) Defense Objectives & Resource Acquisition
Core defense target: The 「Campfire」 in the center of the map. You must resist attacks from all waves of enemies—if the campfire is destroyed, the game ends in failure;
Key resource: Gold coins are the core item. Players need to obtain them by "chopping trees" (tap trees on the map to collect). Gold coins can be used to buy weapons, recruit guardians, upgrade walls, or unlock hero skills.
(2) Wave Attack Rules
The game progresses in "waves". Each wave of enemies will charge at the campfire from multiple entrances on the outskirts of the map;
Real-time key information is displayed on the interface: Current wave (e.g., "Wave 3"), remaining enemies in the current wave (e.g., "3/15"), and countdown to the next wave (e.g., "Next Wave: 00:00:08");
The interval between waves is preparation time. Players can use this time to reinforce defenses and upgrade equipment to avoid chaos during battles;
Defeating each enemy grants experience points. When experience points accumulate to meet the upgrade requirement, the hero levels up automatically and unlocks upgrade rewards (including skill points, items, or attribute bonuses).
(3) Combination of Strategy & Development
Defense layout: Based on the map terrain, reasonably place walls to block enemy paths, recruit guardians to share attack pressure, and match hero skills to form a closed loop of offense and defense;
Character development: Heroes can unlock new skills after leveling up. Weapons and equipment can be upgraded and strengthened with gold coins to gradually improve survival and combat capabilities;
Resource management: Logging efficiency directly affects the defense rhythm. It is necessary to balance the time allocation between "collecting gold coins" and "preparing for defense" to avoid defense gaps caused by insufficient resources.
4. Victory Conditions
Successfully resist attacks from all waves of enemies and keep the campfire intact to complete the current level challenge. Unlock more advanced maps and additional game content as you progress toward the ultimate goal of "escaping the forest"!
