FoSCoRIS

FoSCoRIS (Food Safety Compliance Through Regular Inspection and Sampling System) is an official tool developed by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. It facilitates Food Safety Officers and Designated Officers in conducting inspections and sampling of food units efficiently. The system integrates seamlessly with the FoSCoS application where officers use their existing credentials to access inspection assignments.

With FoSCoRIS, all inspections allocated through FoSCoS are visible in real-time. Once inspections and sampling are completed using FoSCoRIS, the generated reports are immediately accessible to all relevant authorities and the respective food business entities via their FoSCoS accounts. This streamlines the compliance process, ensures transparency, and promotes public health through rigorous food safety standards.
