eBref

The eBREF smartphone application (available in April 2021) is free and accessible to everyone (affected person, family, general public, healthcare professionals) whether or not they have benefited from the BREF program. The application format thus aims to complete the offer for caregivers which is currently developing in France.

eBREF helps initiate and accelerate the caregiver's journey by providing an initial response and by facilitating the identification of resources that caregivers can benefit from near their homes, with 3 main objectives:

> Allow as many caregivers as possible to benefit from clear, up-to-date, understandable and hopeful information concerning mental disorders, treatment, organization of care, available aids, etc.

> Reduce the time it takes for caregivers to access help. eBREF offers a function to identify the resources available to caregivers near them (family associations, structures offering the BREF program, FondaMental Expert Centers).

> Offer the latest news about mental health (bring together information on research, therapeutic innovations and events offered by family associations).


Accessible everywhere, eBREF complements the resources available in healthcare areas where the offer of assistance to caregivers is still absent or very insufficiently developed. eBREF more particularly wishes to reach audiences that are still poorly supported, in particular young carers, aware of digital technology but who do not benefit sufficiently from support resources.
