Périclès : Le quiz civique

We all have an opinion on laws. Much less often, we've actually read the text.

Pericles puts you in the shoes of a member of parliament. A real bill tabled in Parliament is displayed:
what it says, what it changes, what it costs, who defended it, and who opposed it. You vote FOR, AGAINST, or ABSTAIN. And it's only after voting that you discover the actual results.

No editorials, no bias, no sound bites. The texts come from the National Assembly's public database; each entry cites its sources, and you can access them. It's the opposite of a news feed: we give you the information, we let you decide.

At the end of the process, your compass: where your votes truly lean. Sometimes, you might even surprise yourself.

158 laws actually introduced since 2017, and 12 2027 campaign promises slipped in among them. Can you spot the ones that were never submitted to anyone?

WHAT IF YOU TESTED WHAT YOU THINK YOU KNOW?

1,383 questions across 45 topics: institutions, education, justice, the environment, work, the media, secularism, and French history. Your rights, your responsibilities, and a good deal of things no one has ever explained to you.

FOUR WAYS TO PLAY
• THE BIG VOTE — the complete course: 158 real texts, the debate, the context, the groups' positions, and your compass at the finish line.

• THE QUIZ — 1,383 questions, 16 per round, across 45 topics.

• Roughly speaking — a number, a ruler: the national education budget, the price per square meter in Paris, the number of municipalities. We make mistakes, and we remember them.

Not wrong — two situations, only one actually happened. The trickiest ones are the ones we thought we knew.

Alone, or against others? Duel with up to four players, with friends using a game code or against strangers. A daily challenge, the same questions for everyone. Podium, duel ratings, emotes, and a ranking by mode. Enough to finally see if you really have the general knowledge you think you do.

What we don't do
No account creation. No geolocation, no access to your contacts or photos. Your progress stays on your device until you enter the rankings. Your political compass is calculated on your device. Nothing you vote on is ever sent without your explicit consent—and if you do give it, it's assigned a randomly generated number, never linked to your username, and never shared with a third party.

FREE, AD-FUNDED
The game is completely free: no questions, no modes are behind a paywall. Ads appear between certain sections, and a one-time purchase allows you to remove them if they bother you.

SOURCES
Each law card cites its source: National Assembly, Senate, Légifrance, INSEE, Court of Auditors, ministries, research institutes. The links are verified one by one before you enter the game. Spot an error? The flag at the top of the card sends it to us. Campaign promises, on the other hand, refer to the official platform of the party that made them.

The game is fully available in French, Spanish, and English—including the interface, questions, and law cards.
