| 2025-03-04 |  | | en | If I could give it fewer stars I would. This extension ruined my life on multiple occasions. And no, not because I wanted to cheat. I'm all for academic honesty but this thing flags EVERYTHING. Not to mention that it deleted a bunch of important files off my computer, has closed vital tabs and windows (after promising to restore them and NOT doing so), and I've seen it continue to record after I'm done testing. It deleted one of my classmates' attempts at a MIDTERM (not cool) and is just so so so terrible. The only way they can stay on Chrome is because they keep buying bots to rate them five stars (because fun fact, Google takes down apps with one star reviews). I try not to be a hater about most things but Proctorio can suck a rusty sewage pipe. |

If i worked for the CIA and downloaded this on my computer I would go to prison for sharing government secrets. Don't install this software! If your teacher requires it that is a massive red flag and you should drop the class immediately. This is FAR FAR FAR more invasive than a proctoring software should ever be. Stay away! |

Also, if you are using a another way to check on students who is cheating (such as GoGuardian or other software), then there is no reason why you need a another extension like this one. Also, the owner of the extension (this one) should go bankrupt or sued right now (if possible) |
