Summary
Converts a numeric currency amount to text. Browser controls can then be employed to copy the content of the output to the system clipboard.
Features:
– The input field accepts 24 integer digits; decimals will be truncated – or padded – to two digits on submission.
– The numeric field will be formatted to 3 digit comma separated blocks, white space and leading zeroes will removed, and comma separation corrected if necessary. Don’t worry prettifying the input box while editing the field, we’ll fix that for you.
– User can select one of six currency types (dollar, euro, pound, rand, rupee or shekel), one of four capitalisation conventions and whether or not the fractional amount should also be converted to text.
