Formidable

Formidable is an extension that populates forms with data generated by Faker.js (https://fakerjs.dev/) via the context menu and a sidebar.

• Context Menu: Right-clicking on any fillable field (input, textarea, select, or editable content) displays the Faker menu with categories of random data:
• Person (name, surname, email…)
• Internet (email, username, password, URL, IP…)
• Address, Phone, Company, Finance, Text, String, Number, Date, Color, and Boolean.
• The generated value is written to the field and also copied to the clipboard.
• Form Selection: The Select Form option opens the sidebar and extracts all fillable fields from the form (or page) along with a unique CSS selector for each one.
• Side Panel (Editor):
• Assign each field a Faker value, a literal value, a random selection (for select, checkbox, and radio), a checked/unchecked value (checkbox), or custom JavaScript.
• The JavaScript is evaluated in the main world of the page (it has access to faker, el —the actual element— and the entire DOM). It executes after static values, so it can copy the value from another already filled field (e.g., repeating the password).
• Save, update, and delete configurations; when saving, the default name is assigned starting from the first h1 on the page or, if none exists, from the text of title.
• Apply configuration: from the side panel or from the Apply configuration submenu in the context menu.
• Persistence: Configurations are saved in sqlite.
