Folders for Claude Firefox

Folders for Claude

By: Daan25
Organize your Claude chats into folders. Fast, local-first, with optional end-to-end encrypted cross-device sync.

Features & Capabilities

Claude doesn't have folders, so I built them.

This extension adds a folder panel to the claude.ai sidebar. You can make folders and subfolders, drag chats into them, and reorder things however you want. There's a search box that goes through all your chat titles at once.

It also keeps an archive of every chat it has ever seen in your sidebar. Claude's own list only shows recent chats, so if you're looking for something from months ago, the archive is where you'll find it. Chats that dropped off Claude's list get a small "gone" label, and search covers those too.

Everything is stored locally in your browser. Nothing leaves your machine unless you turn on sync, which is optional and off by default. If you want your folders on more than one computer, you can create an account and enable it. Your data is encrypted on your device before it's uploaded, so what ends up on the server is unreadable text, even to me.

The extension is free.
