Why Many of us need to keep in touch with friends through instagram, but we don't want to get sucked into hours of mindless scrolling every time we do. Standard impulse blockers let us block instagram entirely, but then we don't have access to our dms. This tool allows for more precision and convenience by specifically allowing the chat but blocking other distracting features.

What It Does

Removes all of instagram's feeds, stories, and pages except for the chat page
Redirects you back to the chat page when you try to navigate to other parts of instagram
Removes the navigation bar, for more simplicity and immersion

Notes Since the navigation bar is gone, there is no logout/switch account button at the moment. To do either of those, just temporarily disable this extension, logout, and then turn it back on.
