Focus Blocker Firefox

Focus Blocker

By: SUNWIN
Block distracting sites during focus time. Toggle focus on/off, add the current site to your blocklist, and use a simple timer right from the popup.

Features & Capabilities

Focus Blocker keeps you on track by stopping access to distracting websites during focus sessions. Turn on focus mode, add sites to your blocklist, and use the built-in timer to stay disciplined while working or studying.

Once enabled, any blocked site will show a gentle reminder page instead of loading. You can manage your blocklist from the popup — either type in a site’s address or quickly add the one you’re currently visiting. The blocklist is stored locally in your browser and can be edited or cleared at any time.

The built-in timer helps you work in focused sessions. Set a duration that suits you — from just a few minutes to a couple of hours — and Focus Blocker will automatically disable itself when the timer runs out. This way you can stay productive while also giving yourself proper breaks.

Focus Blocker is private and lightweight. It does not require an account, does not track your browsing, and does not send any data anywhere. Everything happens locally, giving you a simple and effective tool to protect your focus.

Is Focus Blocker Safe?

Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

Focus Blocker requires some sensitive permissions that could impact your browser and data security. Exercise caution before installing.
