2023-05-26 | Finally something that works!! Checked on Chrome and Brave!!
2023-04-28 | So I installed this extension again. But when I look at extension bar (lack of better wording (in the right corner were the extension appears)) I notice that this extension is grey as if its not "on". When I click manage extension, the slide is blue and says that the extension is active. How do I interpreting that? When any other extensions if turned off, show grey in the list and actually says its off.
2023-04-27 | useles extension it do nothing!! it dosen't block analytics
2023-04-19 | If you're looking for ways to protect your web activity, this shouldn't be your weapon of choce even for blocking Google Analytics. To be clear, there are way more comprehensive blocking methods even for Chrome out there which should be a hint of what this extension is actually designed for: a simple way to ONLY blocking Google Analytics, nothing more or less than that. The practical effect will be that your browser will not send all of the usual data to the Analytics servers and your visit will therefore not contribute to the aggregated data collection of the specific site. These type of tools can for example be used as a work-around to screen out "internal" traffic from Analytics (for example employees visiting their own company's external website) when the usual IP-blocking functions in Analytics is hard to implement for one reason or another. As far as I can tell, it does what it's supposed to do.

2023-03-18 | This block google tracking. Works fine in 2023 with Universal Analytics, Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Ads tracking.
2023-02-20 | does absolutely nothing
2023-01-16 | I don't need this, why not simply installing any other ad blocker?
2022-10-01 | shouldn't need this you corpo

2022-07-18 | I am still being tracked according to my google analytics. I am trying to block my computer regardless of my dynamic ip and which wifi i am using. Does this take time to take effect?
2022-04-15 | Seems to work just fine for me, however, I am wondering if anyone else has found how to block analytics traffic to specific Google Sites rather than all Google Sites. When I select the option to block just some sites, and plug in the URL for a specific Google site, it doesn't recognize beyond the general Google Sites URL - https://sites.google.com/
2022-04-10 | Super. | ||
2022-02-27 | fine | ||
2021-12-16 | IG it works ironically, GOOGLE made this xD
2021-12-10 | Not appearing in GA anymore! Done. Blocking IP Addresses stopped working and this fixed that issue. I'll keep an eye on any malfunctions, and will disable as a first test.
2021-12-06 | (by Google) ??? Google would not name their own extensions as being from ga-extension-publishers.
2021-12-02 | Opt-Out should mean Opt-Out without being prompted otherwise. Personally, I couldn't care if I never saw another advert in my lifetime.
2021-11-30 | I am an SEO consultant. This works perfectly for my needs: so that I am not skewing my client's traffic data if I am looking at multiple pages on their site over and over again. I checked it by monitoring real-time traffic in GA and it doesn't register my views.
2021-11-20 | I find it disturbing that you have to install spyware to prevent what, Spyware? Give me a break. Enough is enough. How stupid do you think we are? This is over the line.
2021-10-26 | ok | ||
2021-10-19 | Alexander J Alonso is a googler
2021-09-03 | idea sounds good but how do I know it's working?! I will give more stars if and when I find out how to test this ext.
2021-08-24 | The "When you click the extension" option doesnt actual work. Just bring up the drop down again...
2021-08-17 | Great except I wish I could whitelist sites. Some sites act funny when I'm on them (like TensorFlow.org) |
