What is YouTube™ on Hover Preview?

YouTube™ on Hover Preview is a Chrome extension that allows you to preview YouTube links on any website by simply hovering your mouse over them. This extension saves you the trouble of opening each link in a separate tab. You can customize the placement of the preview player and set a delay for the preview to appear. It also marks visited links and provides a 'Turn of the Light' mode for previews. Clicking somewhere inside the page hides the preview player. "YouTube™ on Hover" extension displays a floating panel player once your mouse is over a YouTube link. This is useful to preview YouTube links without the need to open them in separate tabs.

To hide the floating player, just click somewhere inside the page.

For your convenience there are some options:

You can either place the player at the center of the screen or just beneath the YouTube link with custom offset.
For the player to appear, keep hover over a link for 1 second. This option is useful to bypass YouTube links that are accidentally been hovered
Once a link is previewed, it will be stroked-through to be distinguished from other YouTube links that are still not visited. Note that the strike-though is not permanent. Reloading the page will remove all the decorations.
As of version 0.1.4, you can watch previews in "Turn of the Light" mode. Open options page to change this setting.

На окошке сохраняются все элементы управления, вплоть до встроенных другими расширениями. То есть уже из превью, не покидая исходной страницы, можно регулировать скорость, громкость, качество видео.

Flawless. I recommend 2500 milliseconds and checking "Display on YouTube" in the settings.

Works pretty well,but would be nice to see more customization options like - show preview only as long as you hover the link with the mouse - show preview inside thumbnail instead of a seperate frame (with or without controls choosable)
