Veeva Web2PDF: Capture Website Elements into PDF

Veeva Web2PDF is a Chrome extension enabling users to create a PDF version of a website that includes dynamic, interactive elements usually based on JavaScript. It features Hintify mode for adding hints on the elements users wish to capture, generating a PDF directly from Chrome. The hints are locally saved and can be downloaded or shared as .json or .js files, paving the way for permanent touchless hints.

Extension summary

We understand that dynamic and interactive elements can make up a large portion of your website. Dynamic elements are any aspects of a webpage that may not be displayed immediately as the page loads, such as an image slider, dropdown menu, or questionnaire. These elements are usually JavaScript-based and may require some user interaction.

You can browse your site and drop hints along the way with Hintify mode. Right click on anything you want to add a hint to and the Veeva Web2PDF Chrome extension automatically translates your clicks into hint actions that you can easily preview by generating a PDF directly from the Chrome extension. These hints are saved locally to your computer and you can share them with others by downloading a .json file from the Hint Tab. You can also download your hints as a .js file to make them permanent on your website via touchless hints.

User reviews

You have to enter an email address into the extension, which is fine, but the UI is so slow it's nearly impossible to do. Typed in my address, and then it showed up like a minute later. Something wrong here.

Does not works

Didn't work for me. Will stick to printing to PDF, where I don't have to input my email address...
