Al-Ajurumiyyah in English

Ajurumiyyah / Matan al-Jurumiyyah is a basic and summary of gramatical language in arabic. This book is super important to understand how arabic language build.

This book is super important to be able to read arabic sentence without harakat (i'rab).So we can read any book in arabic language and any sign in eastern country like arab saudi, Mesir, etc. without gramatical error .

Jurumiyyah itself isn't just a name, there's a story behind this name.

It is narrated that the author of the book, Sheikh Muhammad Daud Ashonhaj, finished composing the book. Then he walked to a river and when he reached the edge of the river he prayed in himself. If this book is useful then this writing I am sure, will not dissolve when exposed to river water, he said.

Then long story short, he drifted the book away while he said "jarmiyah jarmiyah (flow, flow)" which means the book kept flowing until when he picked it up again his writing did not dissolve in the water, it means he believed that Allah SWT. Blessed the book he wrote, so the name of the book is the book Jurumiyah which means to flow.

So many islamic student not just reading this book, but memorize all the word inside of it. Because it considered as summary and super useful when reading modern and old book about islam.
