What is VeWorld?

VeWorld is a Chrome extension that functions as a VeChain Crypto Wallet natively in your browser. It facilitates access to VeChain-enabled distributed applications (DApps) and promotes interaction with the VeChain blockchain. With VeWorld, users can create and manage wallets, accounts and tokens. Transactions on the VeChain blockchain are reviewable and affirmable by the user. VeWorld is an extension for accessing VeChain enabled distributed applications, also known as "DApps".

The extension injects the VeWorld API into every website's javascript context, so that DApps can easily read from, connect and interact with the VeChain blockchain.

VeWorld also lets the user create and manage their own wallets (mnemonics & Ledger devices), accounts and tokens internally, without external DApps.

When a DApp wants to perform a transaction on the VeChain blockchain, it can send the request to the extension. The user can review, and optionally confirm or deny the request.

Wow, it was soo smooth and fast. I had a little difficulty at the beginning. I was use to using Sync with Ledger -very little information how Sync-Ledger-VeWorld are relate/connected; hence the confusion. Someone correct me if I am wrong; Sync enables Ledger to recognise VET, and now VeWorld is just a browser/desktop wallet - am I correct?
