"Original Sound" is a chrome extension that presents you with the ability to manually control audio input processing in web applications. It disallows unwanted interference such as echo cancellation and voice optimizations which degrade the music quality. It is exceedingly handy when using applications like Zoom PWA and Google Meet, that do not present this option by default. Just install it, run it, set settings as per your liking and hear the clear, unaltered sound.

Applications that access your microphone normally apply processing to cancel echo and optimize for voice. But that same processing can be extremely detrimental to music. Some apps allow you to disable this processing. For web apps that do not - like the Zoom progressive web app (PWA), or Google Meet - this extension is your solution.
To use the extension, install it, then run it from any web app you like. A dialog will be displayed that allows you to turn off echo cancellation and other voice optimizations. After making the settings you want in the dialog, you will need to either change input devices or disconnect and reconnect to the audio in orderr for your changes to take effect.

I may need a bit of assistance.
I opened zoom and switched the input as instructed by a previous thread you wrote. However, the extension itself did not open any sort of a dialogue or screen of any kind with any option to disable the processing. All the extension allows me to do is turn it on or off. I can't pin it either.
I'm also a little confused by one of your above explanations about PWA because, from what I can see, PWA is being used regardless of whether I launch zoom within a browser tab or not.
I have added this extension in my Chrome. But it does not open any menu, I am clicking on it but it is unresposive, am I doing something wrong here? thank you
