WikiMapper

WikiMapper - Track and graph your adventures down the Wikipedia rabbit hole.

What is WikiMapper?
'WikiMapper' is a passive, lightweight Chrome extension specifically designed for Wikipedia enthusiasts. It silently records your Wikipedia and Wiktionary browsing sessions, creating a historical data tree out of it. This allows you to revisit your reading paths, tracing back to how you ended up at certain topics. It is a free and open-source software, with strong user privacy and does not serve ads. 'WikiMapper' unloads itself from memory when idle, ensuring efficient performance. It is updated regularly to meet Chrome's latest guidelines.

Summary

WikiMapper creates a historical tree of your Wikipedia browsing so that you can see just exactly how you spontaneously wasted 45 minutes and ended up reading about the history of Agriculture in Uzbekistan.

Once installed, you do not have to do anything special to use WikiMapper. It runs passively in the background and only on the wikipedia.org/wiktionary.org domains. It stores your Wikipedia browsing sessions locally so you can view them later at any time by clicking in the WikiMapper icon in your browser toolbar.

WikiMapper is free and open source software and does not collect any personal information, serve any ads, or transmit any data of any kind to anyone.

Exactly what I needed!

I like this, but as already said, it would be cool if it checked to see if the page you are pulling up is already on the wikimap and go from there instead of creating a new route or starting a new map. Export to Xmind would be good too.
