Better Hulu PiP is a Chrome extension that enables picture-in-picture (PiP) and browser playback controls for Hulu videos. With this extension, you can play/pause, seek forward/backward, go to the next episode, and restart episodes. Please note that captions will not be displayed within the PiP mode.

Extension summary
Hulu prevents Chrome's picture-in-picture (PiP) feature. This extension re-enables w/ play/pause, forward/backward seek, next episode, and restart episode controls. There is no previous episode button on Hulu. Captions will not display w/in PiP.
