Extension summary

PopChrome allows you to save positions on a webpage, and then easily return to them later.

Use Control+K (Command+K for Mac) to "push" a position, then use Shift+Control+K (Shift+Command+K for mac) to return to it.

Ever read a long text post? You read and find something interesting that you want to return to later, but keep reading past it. Maybe you used to highlight some text and frantically scroll back, searching for it. Maybe you opened the webpage in a new tab, and continued reading there. Or maybe, you just made a mental note and hoped you'd remember - only to forget when you hit the bottom.

With PopChrome, this dilemma is as extinct as australopithecus. Just hit Control + K when you find something interesting, and Shift + Control + K to return to it at your convenience. Pressing Shift + Control + K again returns you to where you Popped from, when you are at your Pushed location.

Great for sites like wikipedia and stackoverflow, where you need to reference earlier portions of an article often!

PopChrome doesn't work on sites that block script injection or rely on mutating the DOM to serve content, like facebook and fivethirtyeight. I'm working to add support for more websites that currently don't work properly.

User reviews

I love its function, but the Ctrl+K conflicts with the google built-in shortcut, which make it quite annoying...

I consider myself a badass, a power popper if you will, and this extension delivers. When I first tried this extension, a powerful tingle shot through my spine as I realized that, for the first time, I had reached the pinnacle of productivity. Thank you PopChome!
