This has been working fine for me for over 6 years and I recommend it. I didn't find where else to let support know of a recent bug, though: I can't edit Google Sheets anymore with this extension on. It produces constant reload errors like this https://support.google.com/docs/answer/7505592?hl=en . Toggling extensions one by one (I was not and have virtually never used the emoji keyboard in any spreadsheet), turning off this one stopped the constant reload errors. I imagine it'll be fixed soon and I'll turn it back on then: over a 6 year streak before the first bug, so it's highly recommended!
