Features & Capabilities

Facebook Post Screenshot is a powerful web extension designed to save Facebook posts as images. By adding a "save screenshot" option in each post's menu, it allows users to capture posts with all replies expanded. This extension also includes an anonymization feature that blurs profile pictures and replaces names with identifiers like "OP", "Profile 1", and so on, protecting privacy.

Large posts are intelligently split into multiple images, each up to 8192 pixels tall (configurable up to 16000 px), ensuring complete capture without loss of detail. Please note that the extension may not function correctly in private browsing mode or when Facebook runs inside container add-ons. Users are encouraged to report bugs or request features via the GitHub issue tracker. The extension requires minimal permissions solely to capture and download images, with all source code publicly available for transparency.
