Events for everyone. Accounts for no one.

PopIn is a free social platform built around the idea that your friends should be able to come to your party whether or not they have an account.

You throw the dinner, the picnic, the Saturday-night thing. You invite anyone by email or text. They tap a link. They RSVP, see the address, add their plus-one, get a reminder the day of, and show up. No app to download. No account to create.

That's the whole pitch. Everything else (feed, social graph, achievements, messaging, stories) is built on top of that one principle.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

Throw events. Big ones, small ones, one-off picnics, recurring run clubs, standing wine nights. AI helps you turn a paragraph of text into a full event.

Invite anyone. Email or SMS. They don't need PopIn to come. Hosts see who's confirmed, who's tentative, and who's added a plus-one in real time.

Run a feed. Small, mutual friends only. No for-you tab, no algorithm, no recommended content from strangers. When you've seen what your friends are up to, the feed stops.

Track who showed up. Achievements light up after your second event, your tenth friend, your first late-night photo upload. Quiet bragging rights.

Send messages. One-on-one or group. Reactions, replies, photos, GIFs. The basics, done well.

WHAT POPIN ISN'T

Not an algorithmic feed. The feed is intentionally small. Mutual friends only. No doomscroll loop. When the feed ends, you go and do something in the actual world.

Not a data harvester. We don't sell your data. We don't track you across the web. We don't profile your guest lists.

Not a replacement for your other apps. Keep using Instagram. Stay in WhatsApp. PopIn is the layer underneath, for the specific job of organising events.

WHO BUILT IT

PopIn is built and operated by a solo developer in Queensland, Australia. No VC, no investors, no surveillance economy. Just one person, building this carefully, in public, with the people who turn up early.

Some things are still rough at the edges. Some features aren't there yet. The next year is about making the core flow rock-solid: create an event, invite anyone, get them there.
