Discover the secrets of Fülek Castle with an interactive, on-site tour app!

The official mobile app of the Fülek Castle Museum is an adventurous companion: as you walk through the castle courtyard and bastions, the app gives you a quiz at each stop, builds castle elements in 3D, and at the end gives you a special, period-accurate AI-generated selfie as a gift.

HISTORY
The 16th–17th centuries were the golden age of Fülek: the castle stood at the intersection of the Turkish occupation and the Hungarian border castle system (1554–1593). The app takes you back to this era — to the world of janissaries, spahis, Bebek family castle captains, and Hungarian ladies.

WHAT DO YOU DO IN THE APP?
• Site tour — 7 stations in the castle, GPS-based activation
• Quizzes — short historical questions at each station
• Castle construction — you unlock 8 3D castle elements gradually, the app builds the fortress before your eyes
• AI selfie — you can choose from 5 historical roles (janissary, spahi, Turkish lady, castle captain, Hungarian lady), and artificial intelligence dresses you in period-accurate clothing
• AR recognition — identification of symbols placed in the castle with the camera

Hungarian, Slovak and English — choose when you first start, can be switched at any time.

FAMILY FRIENDLY
No registration, no advertising, no hidden purchases. The app is free, we do not ask for personal data. Recommended for ages 13 and up, with parental supervision for younger players.

ABOUT FIľAKOV CASTLE
Fiľakovský hrad is located in the southern part of Slovakia, in the town of Fiľakovo, on a volcanic rock. Built in the 13th century, it played a particularly important role during the Turkish period, and fell into ruin in 1682. Today it is maintained by the Fiľakov Castle Museum.

This application was commissioned by the Fiľakov Castle Museum (Hradné múzeum vo Fiľakove) with official content and photos from the museum.
