Playback Mic is an Android Chrome extension designed to route microphone input to headphones or speakers with a customizable delay. Please note that zero latency is not achievable on Android devices due to hardware limitations, and the app is not suitable for singing through loudspeakers or low-latency performance. The app offers compressed or uncompressed recording formats and recommends using headphones to avoid feedback loops during monitoring. The free version permits up to 3 hours of recording or monitoring time, switching to 1-minute sessions afterward. Privacy is respected with no voice recordings collected; internet access is only used for crash reporting and performance improvement via Google Cloud services.
