Your pool times and open water swims, with your real form. No account, no cloud.
You have been logging your times for years: in a notebook, in a spreadsheet, or in your head. Blue Lane brings them all together and tells you what none of those three can: where you really stand.
It is built for the Masters swimmer who races, in the pool and in open water, from 20 to 90 and beyond.
YOUR STORY, NOT A LIST OF NUMBERS
Open your 100 free and there is your whole decade: every time you have swum it, when you dropped time, when you plateaued, which pool you did your best in, and how many attempts it took.
YOUR REAL FORM, MEASURED THE WAY MASTERS IS MEASURED
The week before the meet you know what percentage you are at compared to your best form of the last two years. Against the swimmer you are today, not against the time you did at thirty. That one is not coming back at a certain age, and an app that keeps waving it in your face does not make you a better swimmer.
WHAT TODAY'S RACE HAS TO LOOK LIKE TO DROP TIME
You set a target on an event and the app tells you the pace it takes: to break 1:10, go out in 33.8. And it is not an even split, it is the way YOU swim that event, taken from your own results.
THE EVENTS YOU HAVE LET GO
"You have not swum a 100 back in 11 years. Your numbers say that time is there for the taking."
The app remembers what you stopped looking at, and it only promises you a time when your last two years say you can do it. It also tells you how many of the 18 official events you have never raced.
POOL AND OPEN WATER, EACH ONE ON ITS OWN TERMS
In the pool: splits laid out like the results sheet, how much your pace drops, World Aquatics points and the equivalence matrix across distances and strokes.
In open water: the venue on the map, your placing and your pace per 100 meters.
Short course and long course never get mixed together, because they are not the same event.
YOUR LIFE IN THE WATER, ADDED UP
The kilometers you have raced, your seasons, your signature event and your best day. The answer to who you are as a swimmer, beyond one time on its own.
THE MORE YOU USE IT, THE BETTER IT KNOWS YOU
The predictions and the pacing do not come from a generic table: they are calibrated with your own times. Every result you log sharpens what the app knows about you. And all of that math happens inside your phone, offline, with nothing sent anywhere.
YOUR DATA IS YOURS
No sign-up. No account. No password. No cloud you are forced into.
Everything lives on your phone and works with no signal, in the locker room and on the beach.
When you change phones you take it all with you in one file that you create, that you open, and that you can read in any program.
BUILT BY A MASTERS SWIMMER
It was not designed by someone watching swimming from the stands. It was built by someone still racing, who has spent years logging every result with its splits, the good days and the other ones.
WHAT IS FREE, STAYS FREE
Your times, your full history, your backup and sharing what you achieve are off the table: they are free and they are staying free. This first version comes out complete and costs nothing. Later on there will be a paid layer, and I would rather tell you now which part: what the app works out about your form and your future, like the Form Index.
WHAT IT DOES NOT DO YET
Better you hear it before you install it: today it does not read your workouts from your watch or your health app, and there is no iPhone version. Both are on the way, with no date.
In five languages: Spanish, English, French, German and Italian.
