Flag Calendar tells you when to fly the flag, and how.

Every country does it differently, and the details are where people get it wrong. Norway hoists at 08:00 from March to October and 09:00 in winter, but at 10:00 north of the Arctic Circle. Latvia asks private homes to fly on ten days a year, with a black ribbon one twentieth of the flag's width on days of mourning. Lithuania lowers the flag one third of the mast, not half. Finland flies at full mast on its day of the fallen, which most websites get wrong.

The app covers more than 50 countries and territories and more than 600 flag days. Each flag day is based on an official regulation and includes a link to the original source, so you can verify it yourself.
