Balance public finances, taxes and debt. Invest in healthcare, education, infrastructure, agriculture, research, security, welfare and the military. Reform laws, work with governments and presidents, respond to disasters and political crises, and live with consequences that may unfold years later.

There is no single perfect policy. Saving too aggressively can leave vital services weak. Spending without restraint can push the state into debt or default. Laws that help in one emergency may damage trust, freedom or stability if kept too long. Successful leadership means reading the situation, adapting and accepting trade-offs.
