This app has been originally conceived as a support tool for RC/FPV routine maintenance operations. Outside air temperature measurement is crucial, for example, to achieve accurate true air speed measurements; one of the most available temperature sensors for OAT measurement is the RTD.

This tool calculates the temperature from the resistance measurement.

Parameters values for Callendar-Van Dusen equation have been choosen to be compatible with EN60751 amd ITS-90 RTD and other similar specifications.

That software can calculate temperature measurement from any RTD sensor, no matter what is the resistance value at zero degrees Celsius; PT/RTD100,PT/RTD250, PT/RTD500, PT/RTD 1000 are all included. No matter what kind of technology is used for element making; wire-wound, thin-film and ceramic they all good.
