I have the same problem I can't record anything because every time I try to add my google account, google Block the process, said for security reasons, so I have 2 useless cameras now.

App no longer sends notifications to phones. Users are now not able to login to Google account for cloud upload. Honestly, these cameras have become useless. Update: several months later and still no alerts being sent to Android devices. Imagine buying a camera for home security purposes and it not notifying you. Pretty ridiculous.
