CuidaVen: Comprehensive Venous Device Care Tool

CuidaVen is a free digital healthcare application developed by the Andalusian Health Service, designed for healthcare professionals, students, patients, and their caregivers. Its primary goal is to reduce complications related to venous devices (VD) and enhance patient safety and quality of life by providing evidence-based recommendations, training videos, and educational resources.

Features for Professionals and Citizens

• For Healthcare Professionals: Access evidence-based care guidelines, training videos on various venous devices (CPC, PICC, MIDLINE, PORT, CICC), a knowledge-sharing quiz bank, adherence evaluations via checklists, and a pharmacotherapeutic guide from SAS.
• For Patients and Caregivers: Receive care recommendations and educational videos tailored for adults, pediatric, and neonatal levels to promote self-care and safety.

CuidaVen is supported by scientific societies like FlebitisZero and validated by experts. It is part of an Innovation Project funded by the Ministry of Health and Families of Junta de Andalucía, aiming to foster quality care and patient engagement in venous device management.
