Dodatak unutar aplikacije ePorezna-JPPU omogućuje sljedeću funkcionalnost:

izradu elektroničkog potpisa na obrascima
dostavu velikih datoteka obrazaca (JOPPD, OPZ-STAT-1 i PD-IPO i U-RA)

Za uspješno potpisivanje obrazaca i dostavu velikih datoteka obrazaca potrebno je instalirati ovaj dodatak te programsku podršku. Dodatak omogućuje komunikaciju s programskom podrškom koja je instalirana na vašem računalu, a koja omogućuje funkcionalnost izrade elektroničkog potpisa pomoću certifikata na pametnoj kartici koji je priključen na vaše računalo. Aplikacija ePorezna će prilikom korištenja navedene funkcionalnosti provjeriti potrebne preduvjete te će vas automatski voditi kroz potrebne korake (instalaciju Firefox dodatka i programske podrške). U slučaju nadogradnje dodatke ili programske podrške aplikacija će pri korištenju funkcionalnosti obavijestiti o potrebnim nadogradnjama te će vas voditi kroz postupak nadogradnje.
