In an oversaturated marketplace of useful extensions that either improve productivity or provide fun, Pendo Launcher fails flat on its promise of digital minimalism. After installation, the Pendo Launcher will throw a tiny icon onto your Chrome toolbar. If you click on it, nothing—not a thing—will happen. There are no features, and there's nothing that you can enable in settings, an interface—just complete and utter waste across your browser. Although the concept of doing nothing may sound books-seeking respite from technology overload, Pendo Launcher actually offers a little meaningful experience and value to the users. Neither mindfulness nor a digital detox is brought forth, leaving the users scratching their heads and asking why they installed it in the first place. The Pendo Launcher is a jumbled mess from the user perspective: it seems to have no clear purpose or clear benefit. It's like buying an empty box; inside, there isn't anything to justify its existence or to engage users in any meaningful way. Furthermore, in a practical sense, Pendo Launcher is utterly useless.
