Local Media Player

Local media player lets you play your favorite media (be it video, music or audio) files without any third party software.

What is Local Media Player?
'Local Media Player' is a Chrome extension designed to play most media files directly in your browser without the need to download additional software. It supports most common formats, including MP4, MKV, WEBM, OGG, MP3, H.264. However, it doesn't support .avi format. If a file is not compatible, it needs to be converted to one of the supported formats.
