Local Media Player
Local media player lets you play your favorite media (be it video, music or audio) files without any third party software.
What is Local Media Player?

It supports most common formats, including MP4, MKV, WEBM, OGG, MP3, H.264. However, it doesn't support .avi format. If a file is not compatible, it needs to be converted to one of the supported formats. It literally does exactly what the base video player on my chromebook does, but I have to be online to use it...
don't get this, it directs you to download bad softwares you will never use.
Tried playing an easy song and it just sat there not playing even when I hit the play chevron multiple times giving each click ample time to execute.
