2025-01-18 | Daz Kuffs | en | No longer works. All the features I disabled such as password saving turned themselves back on and get in the way. I can't find the settings to turn them off again. Some features such as the Tracking blocker tell me that I can't have it unless I use Chrome or Firefox. It tells me this whilst I'm literally reading the message inside the Chrome browser. Just broken. It keeps telling me to move my data from Blur to IronVest and neither button does anything at all so the settings are blocked. I did get around that with a popup blocker but man, what a farce. Uninstalled. No longer fit for purpose.
2025-01-15 | Gav B | en | New update is awful - I used Blur for email masking only but since the move to IronVest it's trying to take over everything and arguing with my chosen password manager. IronVest have removed the ability to turn off the auto-fill for specific features - this means I now have to disable the extension completely and re-enable it when I need to generate a masked email. I regret having so many accounts now 'tied' to a service that doesn't work properly. It will be a real pain to migrate all of those email addresses over to another service. Everything was working fine, why did they have to go and meddle with it?
2025-01-14 | - • - • - | en | Sadly, Ironvest browser extension no longer functions after they dropped the Blur software. It is also unfortunate that before this change Ironvest never invested the effort to improve its overall functioning. I am glad I started switching everything over to Proton Pass before this happened. The same company which provides encrypted email through Protonmail, and ProtonVPN for online privacy. They even have Proton Drive for encrypted cloud storage. I trust Proton more than any other internet based company for privacy and security. Everything they do is highly encrypted. They never sell your information to anyone. And they offer free versions of many of their services, and premium versions for those who want extra features.
2025-01-13 | KT | en | terrible since they ended support for Blur. I migrated my data FOUR TIMES and it still won't show up correctly. Now the extension popup prevents functionality - I can't even type passwords into the text box fields, and the icon obstructs the view/hide on password boxes. Going to uninstall and go back to roboform.
2025-01-07 | Maximillion Hardcastle | en | This system has sucked since it became Ironvest, now the extension has been "upgraded" again and it's completely broken. I'm not in the US so I can't use most of the features, but now there's no settings to turn off the stuff I don't need so it's destroyed my UI by overlaying everywhere I don't want it to. Extension has to be removed which means I can't used masked emails anymore, which means I'll stop paying for my three premium subscriptions.
2024-12-29 | Making It Better | en | After this company got sold to IronVest, it doesn't work anymore. I don't have time to figure it out anymore. If there is a customer service rep then I could talk to then that would have helped possibly.
2024-12-28 | melissa janik | en | 9 times out of 10 when I put my cursor into a box that requires username/password Ironvest doesn't pick up because it randomly logs me out of the ironvest account. Once I log myself back into Ironvest I have to re-fresh the screen at least 5 times before their website decides to show my list of usernames/passwords. This has been an issue since I"ve installed the extension and has nothing to do with the new Google requirements.
2024-12-20 | Ro Haywood | en | love your app extension tremendous hep. Today Chrome disabled/remove it from their allowed extensions. VERY frustrating.
2024-12-16 | Dave M | en | Latest update is complete garbage. Everything is a major step backward. Edit: Yaron Dror responded saying the changes are driven by Google's new extension requirements, but it's really driven by a new monetization plan.
2024-12-16 | Babak Amini | en | The latest update caused Vivaldi's CPU usage to spike significantly. It has rendered my laptop unusable. |
