146 is a collaborative network community supported by members and the Srikandi Foundation. 146 is an online and real world pattern for communicating and working together as a community.

Indonesia has a long history that features many stories about individuals and families working together to make a better life.

It can be the story of cooperating to manage the flow of water from rain to feed crops.

There is the story of building structures together for prayer and shelter for the poor.

The story of taking food and produce to the community market for sale.
The story of finding help for the small business by asking neighbors if their children would like to learn a trade or skill in exchange for help with tasks.
Modern participation in stories.

These stories are also the daily stories we are still living now, and 146 is a private network where all the neighbors can continue these historical stories together in a modern way.

146 is sponsored by a yayasan, Sri Kandi Indonesia. The yayasan goal is to help the community to develop their own solutions to modern problems using the strength of our history as an advantage. The yayasan also delivers modern tools and protections including software, protection of privacy, and facilitation of help or services from outside the neighborhood. The yayasan is also a helper-of-last-resort with backup skills to aid with communication moderation. The yayasan also provides staffing and training for staffing, offering skill training to staff in exchange for help in further training for the community.

The neighborhood office is managed by the staff from the yayasan during the first year. As neighbors value the meeting room then management is shared with trained neighbors from the community.
Neighborhood Communication software

The yayasan provides an easy to use software. The software is similar to a private Facebook group. Neighbors can use the software to share their needs or to offer help. Posting in the software makes it possible for another neighbor to contact you and offer help.
