Enable Copy Extension Firefox

Enable Copy Extension

Unlock copying on any website AND extract text from images! Copy text from protected pages, scan Google Docs, PDFs, and screenshots with OCR. Features Standard/Force modes and whitelist.

Features & Capabilities

Enable Copy Extension restores control over your browsing by removing copy restrictions and enabling OCR to extract text from images, PDFs, and protected documents. It offers universal copying across most sites with a simple popup to switch modes and manage a site whitelist.

Two working modes provide flexibility: Standard Mode uses safe CSS and event overrides to copy on most sites, while Force Mode applies a more aggressive approach for stubborn pages (a reload may be required). The extension is open source and privacy-focused, with no data collection. OCR languages can be added from the Options page.

Works like magic
by Fi*****, 2026-03-16

This works with text selection and also with rightclick menu on images. In contrast "Absolute Enable Right Click & Copy" does nothing, garbage.
